100% Road Tax & Registration Fee Exemption

100% exemption on road tax and registration fee for all EVs, including electric cars priced up to ₹30 lakh.

Incentives for Multiple Categories

Purchase incentives for electric two-wheelers, three-wheelers, trucks, and buses. Scrappage incentives for replacing old petrol/diesel vehicles with EVs.

Massive Boost to Charging Infrastructure

Expansion of public, semi-public, and private EV charging stations across Delhi. Support for fast chargers, DC chargers, and battery swapping stations.

Focus on Fleet Electrification

Special incentives and support for commercial fleets, last-mile delivery operators, and public transport.

Policy Validity & Implementation

The policy will be effective for 4 years from the date of approval with an adaptive framework for future improvements.
